Vera Wang Archival Styles: Timeless Bride and Bridesmaid Dresses from David’s Bridal (2025)

Are you ready for a wedding revival that blends nostalgic elegance with modern-day chic? Vera Wang, a name that almost defines the essence of bridal fashion, is making waves once again through an exciting collaboration with David’s Bridal that harkens back to the past.

To commemorate the global partnership between David’s Bridal and Vera Wang, a unique limited-edition collection is being introduced, dubbed "White by Vera Wang." This special range features ten stunning handcrafted dresses tailored exclusively to order—five designed for brides and five perfect for bridesmaids. These fabulous pieces are a nostalgic nod to the best-selling wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses from the duo’s original collaboration back in the early 2010s. Available solely through the David’s Bridal website, this archival collection is being promoted across social media platforms, store websites, and email newsletters, aiming to reach brides-to-be everywhere.

But here’s where it gets interesting! This limited collection is actually just a precursor to the highly anticipated unveiling of Vera Wang Bride, which is expected to launch at David’s Bridal in the spring of 2026—a big milestone for both brands.

Since founding her business in New York in 1990, Vera Wang has become synonymous with exquisite wedding gowns. Her unparalleled artistry has graced the likes of many celebrities, including Ariana Grande, Hailey Bieber, and Kim Kardashian. She has also created breathtaking red carpet looks for icons like Beyoncé, Sydney Sweeney, and Zendaya.

In a significant announcement last September, David’s Bridal Inc. joined forces with WHP Global, the owner of the Vera Wang fashion label, creating an exciting strategic partnership. Under this alliance, David’s Bridal has been named the global producer and retailer for the upcoming Vera Wang Bride collection, which will include not only majestic wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses but also wedding invitations and stationery in the near future. This partnership aims to create a vast universe of Vera Wang Bride, available exclusively at David’s Bridal—making it a one-stop shop for all things bridal.

It’s worth noting that Wang originally entered into an exclusive licensing deal with David’s Bridal for the White by Vera Wang line in 2010, which came to an end in 2020 due to the pandemic's impact. Subsequently, she embarked on a decade-long partnership with Barcelona-based Pronovias for her Vera Wang Bride collection. According to WHP Global, this relationship will now transition to David’s Bridal, marking an exciting evolution in her offerings.

However, the new archival styles will be available on a limited basis, operating on a first-come, first-served model. This is due to the necessity of sourcing heritage fabrics and the made-to-order nature of the collection. Each piece will be custom-made, with a cap of 30 dresses available per style and color option.

As for pricing, these luxurious limited-edition wedding gowns range from $1,699 for a sleek crepe design featuring a contemporary high neckline to $2,299 for a fit-and-flare silhouette with a dramatic skirt. The bridesmaid dresses come in five different colors—Blush, Ebony, Midnight, Wine, and Forest—crafted in sizes ranging from 0 to 22. Retailing at $229.95, the bridesmaid styles also showcase versatile silhouettes, including a plunging V-neckline with a cinched waistband and high slit.

To celebrate the launch of this splendid archival collection, David’s Bridal is hosting a brunch and fashion presentation at the Café Carlyle. This event will serve as the grand unveiling for these archival pieces, in addition to showcasing exclusive designs from David’s spring 2026 bridal lineup, featuring new looks from Viola Chan Couture. Excitingly, plans are also in place to present archival pieces from the Vera Wang Bride line, as well as to introduce the brand's expansion into Indian bridalwear with Kynah.

What are your thoughts on this revival of timeless elegance through Vera Wang’s partnership with David’s Bridal? Are you excited to see such classic styles return? Share your opinions and let’s discuss how these styles might inspire today’s bridal fashion!
