The 50 best family restaurants in Navi Mumbai (2024)

The LaLiT Mumbai is a five-star hotel located in Sahar Airport Road, 1 km from the airport in Mumbai, India. The hotel offers 368 rooms with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. Some of the amenities include a business centre, concierge and box office (a 45 seater movie theatre).

The hotel has a different lobby which is the first thing you notice when you enter. The rooms are nice and the switches in my room were conventional which was convenient and comfortable, unlike modern touch panels which take time to understand and adjust. I had a wonderful view every evening of the sunset. 24/7 was a typical 5 star restaurant. A nice place to spend time with yourself or those with you is the poolside in the evenings, just outside the 24/7. I had a flawless experience with the service as well as the polite and courteous behaviour of the staff. Absolutely no negatives and hence no hesitation in recommending this hotel to potential patrons.

Very large hotel located close to the airport. I arrived at 5am and was very friendly welcomed. The room was very clean and spacious and equipped with everything you need for a stay. Unfortunately, I could not enjoy these amenities for long as I had to move on again around noon. But it was enough for a little sleep. The rich breakfast was very tasty and a good start to the day. So thumbs up 👍

I recently stayed at the this hotel, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I entered, the staff's warm welcome and impeccable service stood out. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and offered breathtaking views. The hotel's dining options were exceptional, with a diverse range of culinary delights. The wellness facilities were world-class, providing relaxation and rejuvenation. What truly set this hotel apart was its attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction. I couldn't have asked for a more memorable and indulgent stay. It's undoubtedly a top choice for those seeking a truly opulent experience.

I stayed 1 night (room 143) for a few hours before my flight so I did not experience the whole thing maybe. Hotel is right at the airport 2 min drive. Security is good, reception is fast in and out , 7/24 restaurants with good food is a real plus. Rooms, beds need update. There are certain details that made me feel that the hotel needs renovation.

While the hotel is huge and the room sizes don't make it look like a Mumbai property, there is no denying that the structure is old and in need of a good renovation. The wear and tear is very much visible to the guest. That being said, the staff was extremely helpful and we have absolutely no complaints with them. The food could be slightly better. The grandeur of the hotel still stands though. You will enjoy your stay here, that's for sure.

We had gone there with a lot of expectations but I guess that was a mistake on our part. The ambience of the hotel was great, the room was very spacious. When the hotel charges so much, I guess they should provide a better experience to its guests. Food is one area where they should definitely work on.

, gorgeous restrooms. We didn't get a chance to try the cafe - had come post dinner and didn't want to eat more, but given how good the place is, I am sure the food was great too!An excellent hotel near the airport. We hung around there while we were waiting for a friend to land. Very spacious lobby, gorgeous restrooms. We didn't get a chance to try the cafe - had come post dinner and didn't want to eat more, but given how good the place is, I am sure the food was great too!

The rooms were not only impeccably clean but also tastefully decorated, making for a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We had a Wonderful experience. Good explain service. Stayed last weekend..Rooms are really comfortable & spacious. Staffs are really polite… everything was perfect…including foods and services… truly recommend to visit once.

Their reception staff has no idea whatsoever what the hotel policies are. There were 5-6 people standing at the reception for the checkin and everyone had a different answer / view point for a basic early check-in request.I am not sure why they call themselves a 5-Star Property when their tonality, etiquettes, speech, manners are of a 1-Star Hotel.Worst experience just at the time of check-in when my stay for 2N after paying 25K for this property has not even started & guess what I cannot even cancel this booking as I would not get any refund now.So I have to live with this 1-Star experience in a so-called 5-Star hotel.

Harshal P — Google review

Ambience is very good and it's a perfect holiday spot for family who wish to relax and spend some time at the Hotel. Most of the time the room key does not work while going up in the elevator and you have to check at the reception.Room rates are reasonable being a 5-star hotel and the staff is very polite.Food quality is good and they cater according to your needs.Overall a very good place to stay.I want to give a rating of 4.5 but I am not able to do so.

How interior looks really pretty but the rooms are outdated. Stuff lack basic customer service. Greeting stuff in by the entrance are super nice and will go out of their way to help you unlike front desk stuff. I got to the hotel at 7am, my room was paid for, they didn’t check me in till 1145am. After I got my room, I found out that the shower had a issue. Took them 2 days to keep fixing and finally changed my room. Key card not always working in the elevator, when you call room service it takes more then 30mins to even get a clean towel. I had to request them every day to have my room cleaned as if I didn’t then they wouldn’t have cleaned it. Breakfast was average, nothing great. I stayed at this property for 10 days and was expecting more. They definitely need to work on things. Definitely won’t be staying there next time.

its a very good hotel..excellent stay near airport and you will love it here..they have a very good infinity pool on the terrace..the water in the pool is super clean..everything was great..only negative point about the hotel is that while checking in, they gave us the keys for the wrong room(room which was already occupied by a couple)..the couple were shocked when we entered the room.. thank god that they were not in any awkward position..

Absolutely amazing five star experience 😍 Had a great stay here... It was a really delightful experience. More than expected.😊😍. They got a really enormous swimming pool. Very clean and well maintained. Fully equipped Gym 🏋️ with all kind of machines. And Spa and massage experience was relaxing. They got a very professional & well trained masseuse. I would especially like to appreciate Miss. Solan. The breakfast buffet had a great variety. I really enjoyed my stay here. Food & drink is bit expensive 🫰

Great experience, good services clean rooms. it was ideal for us to stay in airport as we only were in mumbai for two days. if you are staying longer i would not advise location wise as its quite far from main touristic places to see.

Alev K — Google review

The hotel is in prime location very near to airport. Rooms are spacious and nice. The service was pathetic. They took sweet one hour to handover the room saying to wait for 5 mins. The breakfast starts 7AM and I had to leave to airport almost same time. When asked for take away they denied it. The breakfast service is also bad. In fact no service at all. I kept calling for help and they ignored. Never again in Lalit.

This hotel was exceeded of my 1st experience and expectations, wonderful experience… stayed last weekend ,the staff are really polite and helpfull... Rooms are comfortable and spacious… everything was perfect…very close to airport..truly recommend visit once.

Aneri P — Google review

Smooth check in. Nice rooms. Although service & cleanliness could be a little better. Breakfast was the best a few years ago but is slowly turning into a Udipi affair, losing all the charm for those of us that like ham, bacon and a good variety of cold cuts.

The Lalit Hotel offers a luxurious and impeccable experience that exceeds expectations. From the moment you step into the elegant lobby, you're greeted with warm hospitality and attention to detail. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The culinary offerings are exceptional, with a diverse range of dining options that cater to every palate. Whether it's indulging in fine dining or enjoying a casual meal by the poolside, the quality of food and service is consistently outstanding. The hotel's facilities, including the spa, gym, and swimming pool, provide ample opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation. Moreover, the location is convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding attractions. Overall, The Lalit Hotel truly epitomizes luxury and sophistication, making it a top choice for travelers seeking an unforgettable stay.

Spacious & well maintained Rooms, Excellent Breakfast. Property is old but highly maintained. Bed Lenin bathrooms are well maintained. Excellent taste and variety of breakfast. Ppl looking for hotel near airport, this hotel is must stay.

Lokesh T — Google review

My recent stay at The Lalit Mumbai, was unfortunately quite uncomfortable, particularly for my elderly mother. One major issue we encountered was with the lift. It was located too far from our room, making it extremely difficult for her to move around the hotel.Given that my mother has mobility challenges, this made what should have been a relaxing stay into a stressful experience. We had to take longer routes, which was physically demanding for her. This is not what we expected when booking our stay, and it was disappointing that the hotel did not have adequate measures in place to assist guests with mobility issues. While the staff were polite and the room was satisfactory, the inconvenience caused by the lift issue significantly impacted our overall experience. I would recommend that the hotel management take immediate steps to address this issue, especially considering guests with similar needs. For those traveling with elderly family members or anyone with mobility concerns, I would advise inquiring about room location and lift accessibility in advance.

Stayed here for couple of days and the experience was memorable!!! The staff is very polite and helpful. Their hospitality is to another level. They take care of your needs and comfort very well. Special thanks to Mr. Preetam for hosting us on lunch and making sure things were easy and comfortable. Had a Great time!

Got a no smoking room and that’s alright cz I could go outside, did ask for a matches and had a “yes” so I waited til then it took me an hour to wait and it never came. Asked for a second time and the receptionist said my room’s not a smoking room which I completely aware since I checked-in. Never intended to smoke inside anyway, disappointing for whatever reason they should’ve let me know if I had just to go downstair just to have them.

Stayed for a day.The rooms are quiet spacious and has calm interior and colours. The hotel is just near to terminal 2 of Mumbai airport, so does not had a great view outside. There are many inhouse restaurants inside the hotel. The hotel got a unique architecture inside with a big central lobby. The in-room dining was ok. Butter chicken, fish tikka and garlic naan was amazing. Biryani was really bad. Pasta was average. The washroom was ok but could have done better in preparation.Overall good experience.

Good place. Very close to the airport. Staff is nice. But the star of the place is the food. It was AMAZING. We had breakfast and dinner here. Heaps of options. Loved it.Rooms were spacious. Bed was nice and comfortable. But the rooms structure is quite old. Can do with an upgrade, atleast the furniture. But over all we enjoyed a lot so not complaining,

Rooms are big and so is the bathroom and the bed can accommodate 3 adultsBathroom has both shower and bath tub. If you shower in overhead shower area, water comes out of glass cubicle and with no way out for water, bathroom.gets flooded and you have to call housekeeping to clean it.Breakfast is good but there can be 5-10 minutes waiting time during peak hours (9-10am)Rooms have literally no views especially ending with 01 to 07. Lower floors are even worse in terms of views.Hotel lobby is very luxurious

Rakesh S — Google review

The best place to stay. Good support staff and Great hospitality. They have ample options in breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. The overall rates are budget friendly as compared to other hotels.

I stayed at The Lalit for a 3 day work trip. the property itself is quite good but the breakfast was quite a disappointment. the spread was good but taste wise nothing really to write home about. For that reason alone I feel hesitant to go back this hotel

Nidhi G — Google review

Came here for a business meeting at one of their conference rooms.Mixed reviews of the hotel as it still has not been renovated and gives a very old Mumbai vibe. Some may love it 😁Typical expaaaaansive lobby area having view of all hotel rooms.. big security risk I would feel. Taj Santacruz also has such a design but the space outside room and common area is separated by a glass partition

We were given a room overlooking a wedding and we wanted to change and the team could not propose a satisfying solution. We ended up with an inferior room though we had a booking for a 1 bed apartment. The price difference was not refunded to us and neither was any compensatory attempts made through vouchers for the price difference that we had suggested. The rooms are very dated and not sound proofed. As a hotel next to an airport, having sound proofed rooms are key as you will get frequent travelers who value their rest and sleep. We were not informed there would be a wedding taking place either, otherwise we would've opted for another hotel. Will never return, which is a shame as we had loved our stay 5 years ago.

Reception staff is not helpful and needs better management skills.Everything was nice except the fact that we wanted change to pay the auto driver and no one helped us . The cashier had no change with him ( had only 500₹ notes) and not a single person arranged it for us . It was shocking how nobody was willing to arrange it, no humanity left. Finally a person in the valet helped and so thankful to him that we could pay the auto driver or else we would have to roam on streets to arrange it as this big hotel has become completely cashless and employees broke. This thing completely spoiled our moods and never booking it again in future.

I recently stayed at The Lalit Mumbai, expecting a luxurious experience, but my stay was anything but pleasant. Despite its 5-star rating, several issues made my visit highly disappointing.Firstly, the check-in process was incredibly slow and disorganized. I had to wait over an hour to get my room key, even though I had a prior reservation. The staff at the front desk were indifferent and unhelpful, making the entire experience frustrating from the start. The room itself was another letdown. While it was supposed to be a deluxe suite, it felt anything but deluxe. The furniture looked worn and outdated, and there were noticeable stains on the carpet and curtains. The bed was uncomfortable, with lumpy pillows that made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.Cleanliness was a major issue. The bathroom had mold in the shower, and the towels provided were rough and smelled musty. Housekeeping seemed to be minimal, as the room was not thoroughly cleaned during my stay. I even found a cockroach in the corner of the bathroom, which was absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. The amenities were equally disappointing. The swimming pool was dirty and crowded, with no staff around to maintain order or cleanliness. The fitness center had outdated equipment, some of which was broken and unusable.Dining was another area where the hotel fell short. The breakfast buffet was underwhelming with limited options, many of which were cold or stale. The service at the hotel restaurant was slow, and the food was overpriced and mediocre at best.To top it all off, the Wi-Fi was incredibly slow and unreliable, which made it difficult to get any work done or even relax with some online entertainment.Overall, my experience at The Lalit Mumbai was far from the luxurious stay I anticipated. The hotel needs significant improvements in service, cleanliness, and amenities to justify its 5-star rating. I would not recommend staying here until these issues are addressed.

The food is great ! Rooms are clean , nice and pretty spacious except for the shower cubicle which is quite small. Room service was slow by both the in room dining and housekeeping. Had to make multiple calls. But we didn't have any major inconvenience so overall a lovely stay .

Recently stayed at The Lalit and had high hopes for a five-star experience. While there were some good aspects, a few issues left me feeling disappointed. Here’s a rundown of what happened during my stay:Arrival and Security:Luggage Assistance: When I arrived, no one from the security team offered to help with my luggage. This was a bit surprising and not the best first impression. They did help with my bags when I checked out, but it would have been nice to have that assistance right from the start.Reception Issues: There was a strange situation with the security staff regarding my portable speaker. Even though it was just a small, unused speaker in my bag, the greeting staff stopped me from entering the hotel. I had to explain multiple times that I wasn’t going to use it in my room. Then they stopped me to question at the reception desk. Eventually, they let me go my way, but it felt unnecessary and a bit frustrating.Room Cleanliness and Amenities:Bathroom Condition: The bathroom had some mold and the grout was pretty dirty. It wasn’t what I expected from a five-star hotel.Hygiene Concerns: The water closet didn’t seem properly cleaned or sanitized, as it didn’t have the usual paper seal indicating it had been cleaned. And if management is going to say they don't do paper seals as a standard then it's just a huge letdown, because even basic boutique hotels out there are doing it.Shower and Water Temperature: The shower amenities weren’t great, and the water wasn’t hot enough in the tub, the shower enclosure, or the sink taps, which was extremely disappointing.Room Cleanliness: The room itself had some dust and water spots on the hardwood floors. It just didn’t feel thoroughly cleaned. Saw a cockroach or two going around the corners of my room and the condition of the mattress in my room once I'd removed the quilts basically made me want to throw up in my mouth. Also, the hardwood kept creaking on this one particular for some reason.Towels and Shower Enclosure: The towels weren’t properly laundered and the set was incomplete. I actually ended up getting acne all over my face shortly after using one of their musty towels. Plus, the shower enclosure was really small and cramped. A toddler couldn't shower in there in peace.Minibar: The minibar wasn’t properly stocked, which was a letdown. On top of that the popcorn they had in there was moldy and stuck-together.Service and Staff:Early Check-in: I had asked for an early check-in, and while they did accommodate my request (which I am thankful for), I had to wait for about two hours to get it done, which also wasn't a problem. My only problem was the staff did not proactively tell me when it was ready, and by the time I'd gone to the reception (almost two hours later) it seemed like the room had been ready for a while by then. A little proactiveness would've saved me a lot of time.Greeting Staff and Entrance: The greeting staff seemed a bit inexperienced, and honestly it was off-putting to see service lorries using the same entrance as the main guests.Dining Experience:Breakfast Quality: Breakfast was really disappointing. The food was bland, not properly heated, and lacked flavor. For what they charged, it was definitely not worth it. I didn't even bother showing up for the buffet after my first day there because it seemed like a pain to deal with.Room Service and Restaurant: I told the front desk that I didn’t like the room service food, and they recommended another in-house restaurant. Also, who serves biryani without salan?Anyway, that restaurant was just as disappointing.Hotel Condition and Ambiance:Furniture: The furniture in the hotel looked old and worn out, which didn’t match the five-star vibe they were going for.Overall, the hotel just doesn’t live up to its five-star rating. It feels more like a three-star hotel trying to be something more. The Leela is like, right next to this hotel. I stayed there the last time and my experience was brilliant.P.S: This is not a fake review and I can provide my booking details.

Rooms were average but the waiting area is huge and breathtaking. In the swimming pool area they're quite particular about the swimming attire. They gave us free breakfast which was a huge spread. Good options . Loved almost everything about the place except one thing where they had attached a poster of 50% off at their bakery store between 6-8pm and the previous day when we bought stuff no discount was added. And we saw the poster on the next day. When we confronted them they said we should have asked for it😒. So it was a big disappointment for them to be this dishonest. So i would've given this place a 4star but because of this behaviour it's a 2
